message to incoming seniors:
this is it. it’s your LAST year of this town. and I know you “hate” it and are “so ready” to get out of this town…but stop. stop and take a second to realize that this is it. it’s your last football game in that student section. it’s the last time you’ll ever walk into that school for the first day. so don’t be shy. make friends with the boy you’ve sat next to every year but never got to know. flirt the boy/girl you’ve always wanted but were always too scared too. this is it. I’m not saying high school is the best years of your life, but there certainly isn’t anything like it. be grateful and savor each moment.
